Our New Space:

Our new space will have a main performance area AROUND TWICE AS LARGE AS WHAT WE HAVE NOW, and CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING, and A SECONDARY PERFORMANCE SPACE IN THE BASEMENT, and A CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY AS A THEATER, and AFFORDABLE RENT.

Our New Address:

279 Church Street.

Our Mission:

Collective: Unconscious is both a base of creative operations and a venue.  We will continue our operations in these capacities in Lower Manhattan. To the best of our knowledge, we are the only functioning artist's cooperative/venue to have moved into Tribeca in recent years.

What We Need to Survive:

Bookings

Bookings. Many of our supporters are artists working in performance, new media, installation art, and video/film art. You can help support us by bringing your work to Collective: Unconscious. Email scheduling@weird.org.

Financial Support

Collective: Unconscious reached its $50,000 fund-raising goal that we needed to reach to sign our new lease. However, around half of that money we obtained as loans, which we will have to pay back starting in a few months. Now we will be taking donations not to secure our new space, but to keep if financially sustainable by lowering our operating costs, through your generosity.
